Steve first ran this trip twenty years ago, charting a route through the wild and unspoilt landscape of the far north west of Scotland. This five day self-sufficient trip takes you into a stunningly beautiful area; an experience enhanced by the absence of other people, roads, buildings and artificial light. It is suitable for those with some paddling experience as well as those new to canoeing who are paddling tandem with a competent partner. The actual route will depend on the conditions at the time, though the intention will be to include a day to relax or to ascend one of the fortress like Torridonian mountains arrayed around you. Call Steve to discuss the trip if you’re interested.
“Steve, … And to say a huge thank you for the trip – I may stop smiling at some point!! Now to go shopping for a proper fire lighter and some waterproof trousers!”
